Gemini – Absolute Motion and Relative Stillness

Sometimes one might think that Geminis are like the popular meme featuring a hooded figure saying, “Let me see your true face”; once you remove one mask, another appears, and beneath that mask lies yet another, even deeper mask.

You might believe that Geminis are interested in only one thing, but upon closer examination, you will discover that not only are they fascinated by that one subject, but they also show interest in another—indeed, even in things that seem completely unrelated. 

The world, for a Gemini, is like a game filled with countless hidden trigger points; interactions that occur subconsciously make them feel that the world is extraordinarily interesting. When a Gemini decides to delve deeply into a subject, they enter a mode of exuberant energy, activating every piece of knowledge about that topic. After gathering all the desired information, they continue to explore unknown territories.

In this process of exploration, Geminis come to learn about a vast array of knowledge—from the mainstream to the niche, from popular to obscure. One might say that a Gemini’s enthusiasm can be as fleeting as a three-minute spark, yet one cannot deny their extraordinary ability to collect information; there is nothing that a Gemini does not seek out if they are intrigued.

When it comes to people or subjects they wish to understand, Geminis trace every interesting detail from the origin through development, through turning points to the present. They could practically compile all these fascinating insights into a comprehensive document stored solely in their minds. 

In this way, a Gemini gradually pieces together their true self. Their efficiency might not always be the highest, but every step is taken without regret—in the eyes of a Gemini, every experience is a reward. Whether good or bad, every moment contributes to who they are.

Furthermore, what use is regret? Thus, only after accumulating enough information and undergoing various experiences can a Gemini truly understand what they love and find something that sustains their passion.

This is a process that starts broadly and then becomes refined, discarding the unnecessary and retaining the essence. It is the way Geminis face the world: to understand the world, to accept it, and then to choose to construct their own reality.

It is like a game: if the main quest is to complete a certain task, then a Gemini will be simultaneously engaged in the main quest while embarking on various side quests—sometimes even finding the side quests more intriguing than the main one, devoting themselves wholeheartedly to them until the main quest is forgotten.

Should a Gemini choose to focus on the main quest, it will not be the result of a calculated decision weighing pros and cons, nor will it be their initial choice; rather, after experiencing it, they will sincerely believe that the main quest is more engaging than the side quests. For Geminis, the evaluation is not about benefits versus drawbacks but about measuring their own passion.

Similarly, when it comes to relationships, Geminis will not fall in love with someone who is beautiful yet static; they need the sensation of change to feel truly alive. Unchangingness makes one seem like a mere automaton, akin to a non-player character in a game built from lines of code. Geminis despise passivity—they want to seize initiative. 

Only by being proactive can a Gemini truly embody the enthusiastic vitality that life demands. Perhaps what ignites a Gemini is precisely this vibrant, fascinating world.
