Aquarius: The Independent Rebel Who Doesn’t Need Your Approval

Does Aquarius need approval? Not really. Aquarius even thinks, “What does it matter if you don’t approve of my point of view?” If you disapprove of Aquarius and talk about them, they won’t react at all. They won’t bother to argue with you or waste their time explaining things to you; it serves no purpose for them. 

Also, it’s not uncommon for Aquarius to be misunderstood or unappreciated, but they don’t care much about it. They keep their distance from society and prejudices. However, if you try to interfere with an Aquarius’s life, they’ll show you what rebellion is.

Aquarius’s interpretation of approval is this: Whether you approve or not, it’s your interpretation in your own mind. So what does it have to do with me? I won’t gain any weight because of your approval, nor will it make my life more prosperous.

In Aquarius’s view, if they needed others’ approval to live, they would be pretty weak. They despise such a weak position in life. For those who like to give advice and judgments, it’s best to stop your habits; such people will instantly be added to Aquarius’s blacklist.
Of course, since Aquarius doesn’t need others’ approval, they aren’t easily moved by conventional praise. Even if you praise Aquarius for no reason, they will be wary of your intentions.

So when you express how much you like Aquarius, how much you love Aquarius, Aquarius will feel indifferent. After all, they don’t need your likes and admiration to live. In Aquarius’s eyes, you’re just loving the Aquarius you’ve imagined. It has nothing to do with me, this Aquarius. In fact, some strong and confident Aquarius might even think: “My damn charm is really annoying.”

Aquarius is a star sign with extremely high self-approval. They believe they are top-notch no matter how you evaluate them. If they can’t be the master they think they should be, that’s what makes Aquarius feel frustrated, not the lack of approval from others. 

Approval from others is worthless in Aquarius’s world, sometimes even becoming their shame, something they strive to correct and overcome.

Aquarius has a bottom line: they can’t tolerate insincerity from others. They detest being deceived and hate it when others betray their feelings. So if you want to get along well with Aquarius, you must ensure that you are sincere. Otherwise, once Aquarius discovers your insincerity, the more they care about you, the more they will hate you, and the less likely they will forgive you.

Also, don’t throw tantrums at the drop of a hat. Aquarius has a good temper, but that doesn’t mean they will tolerate all your little quirks. If you occasionally throw tantrums, Aquarius won’t mind. But if you get angry over trivial matters all the time, Aquarius will find it off-putting. 

They’ll think you have a bad personality and aren’t worth getting close to. So their attitude towards you will gradually become distant, and if they initially cared about you, they might give up on you because of your unrestrained temper. Eventually, they won’t want to be around you anymore.
